Some folks just have to prove they have the "Right" to be stupid.
Legends in their own minds
In my view men like this are undocumented soldiers of the coming second American Civil War (ACW 2.0).
They have grievances. They feel they should be heard. And, issues settled to their favor. Without compromise.
Their behavior seems random and is at times violent or plain nuts, but still there are common threads and complaints.
Once they find a lucid common cause and inspirational leader, it won't be long before a pitched battle for control of America will begin. I think it's going to take ten to twenty years for all the necessary elements to coalesce, just like last time.
But, I am pretty sure anymore it's coming: ACW 2.0
Or, maybe he's just some guy who had a bad day.
I say the racist tone of the rally should elevate this with a hate crime modifier.
Why is brandishing and flaunting a firearm part of it for some gun owners? I don’t know if this guy was a concealed carry guy but if he was, isn’t the point that the weapon be concealed?
In Alabama, both Menacing and Reckless Endangerment are misdemeanors... hopefully Alabama probation/parole wont allow him to own any firearms while on probation since his crimes involved a firearm.
That's most likely the reason he's appealing.
I sincerely hope that taxpayers aren't footing the bill for his frivolous appeal.
Now he's on ice. Nice.
This type of irresponsible, psychotic behavior should prevent this man from legally owning firearms. If he should be found in possession of firearms in the future, his punishment should be SEVERE.
Send him to jail!!!!
Shame it wasn't a felony. He doesn't deserve to have guns.
Goes to show - just because you're a teacher doesn't necessarily mean you're not an idiot.
