    Sounds like they sub the work out to someone else. The ibuprofen was distributed before the company received the test results. If they controlled the manufacturing they would have batch tests before it left the factory.

    So how did they know to pull it? Doesn't make sense, does it?

    As with food recalls, how do these affected products ever leave a factory? This recall affects 3 lots with expiration dates of 2/2019, 4/2019, and 8/2019. That there's even a recall suggests these products have already gone through various distribution points and landed on store shelves. So much for faith in govt inspections preventing things like this - just react after things have gone wrong.
