Is it just me or does Beto look like Herman Munster?

At this point I don't care who it is as long as they can beat that criminal Russian agent in the WH.

I like him but he didn't beat Ted Cruz, his chances at beating Trump are not very high.

I think O'Rourke definitely has charisma and has a lot of grass roots excitement on his side, as he did during the Texas election. Problem is, at this point he is only one of a number of Democratic candidates and will not only have to differentiate himself from the rest of the progressive pack, but also convince Dems that a Caucasian male should be at the head of the ticket in 2020. We'll see what happens.

It will be interesting to watch Beto. He has that magic that you just can't describe, but you know it when you see it. If he gets some traction, he could really stand out quickly. I think Beto/ Harris could be a really interesting 2020 ticket.

I just made my first Presidential campaign donation for 2020 and it went to O'Rourke. Sorry Joe, I really like you but....

He should've waited until next time and ran again for the Texas Senate seat.

He won't be able to have a voice. Biden is seen as the moderate candidate amongst the sea of fringe liberals.

Hell yes!!! Now the election is worth voting in. Start packing your stuff to move out of the White House Mr. President. There’s a new sheriff in town.

Nope. Not going to happen. But it's his time to waste.

Sigh... another generic white man in the race. I thought Democrats hated white men with the passion of 1000 knives?

Beto definitely has energy; and the carisma...I'll be watching him on the big trail...I just want him to tone down some of the arm waving...

  • Silvertongue

This guy couldn't be Ted Cruz.

He's another second rate candidate. No chance.

Beto: no experience; no real accomplishments; lost his last election.
But he glibly spews the Liberal/Leftist mantras and talking points.

    Great Democrat Candidate!

B&B or B&K... Biden with Beto or Kamala and one term promise from Biden.

Beto O’Rourke is by far the best politician in the race but it remains to be seen if he has a good grasp of issues and policies. Also he needs to be thoroughly vetted about his auto accident and DUI. We don't need him to be turned into a Ted Kennedy by Trump.

  • Blue Wave

Good ol' Trump. His fears of those running against him are once again on public display as he can only criticize O'Rourke's "hand movements". Funny, this coming from someone who's own hand movements often involve the use of his middle finger and thumb to show how much of a "zero" he really is.

  • Just_my_opinion

I like his ideas but he's exhausting to watch lol.

Obama as VP? Lets go Beto.
