EXCLUSIVE: Dennis "Demo" Queen is believed to be the last person to see Joanna Clark and her daughter, Shariece, of Baltimore, Maryland, the day they disappeared — Feb. 4, 2017. He's Joanna's ex-boyfriend and the father of her six younger children, ages 3-11, and has known Joanna since Shariece was two.

Family and friends believe that Dennis Queen knows what happened to Joanna and Shariece. They point to the couple's turbulent past, including a protective order granted to Joanna against Dennis Queen in 2016, and which was still in effect when the mother and daughter disappeared. Dennis "Demo" Queen shares his side of the story and vehemently denies the accusations.

The Back Story

Joanna Clark, 33, and her daughter Shariece, 15, mysteriously vanished on February 4, 2017. They were last seen in their south Baltimore apartment near Cherry Hill, on the same day but at different times, by Joanna's ex-boyfriend and the father of her six younger children. Investigators suspect foul play was involved but have not identified any suspects and no arrests have been made.

Joanna left behind her six younger children, something family and friends say she would never have done. Shariece, they tell me, is like a second mother to her siblings. According to Baltimore City Police, Joanna and Shariece do not have a history of running away or any other run-ins with law enforcement.

Joanna worked at Goetze's Candy Company in East Baltimore. Her aunt, who also works there, was first to notice that she hadn't shown up to work for two days. But at the time, no one had any idea that Shariece was also missing. On February 7, three days after they disappeared, Joanna's best friend of 18 years, Jessica Watson, went to the apartment where Joanna lived with her seven children. The children were there with their father's older teenage son who told Jessica that neither Joanna or Shariece had returned since Saturday. Jessica contacted Baltimore City P.D. to report them missing.

So what happened to the mother and daughter? People don't just fall off the face of the earth. Over the last few weeks, I've been looking into this case and talking with Joanna and Shariece's family and friends and with law enforcement. Police tell me that it's no coincidence the two disappeared the same day, and they believe whoever is responsible, wanted to do something to both of them.

Joanna had been out on a date that night and returned home around 11:15. Shariece's cell phone reportedly pinged in downtown Baltimore around 6:30, but the last person to physically see her was Dennis Queen.

We've put together two stories on this case to raise awareness about Joanna and Shariece's disappearance. Their family and friends are hoping for more media coverage and would like to see a large reward offered for information in this case.

Anyone with information is urged to call detectives at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
